Our basketball camps have a unique focus of teaching basic fundamentals and various drills and techniques. Campers learn basketball handling skills through intensive ball control drills and then build on their superior ball-handling skills by learning quick moves off the dribble. Each camp session will provide a mix of physical activity, practice, instruction, life skills, and fun! There will be indoor and outdoor activities! Also, each camper will be provided with a daily snack and a daily “picnic-style”
The Summer Basketball Camps runs from Monday, June 16 through Friday, July 4, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday located at the Naomi Drenan Recreation Center, 750 Beal St, Charlotte, NC 28211. The cost of this three-week camp is $150 or $50 per week per camper. The camp will feature special celebrity guest “Alimoe” aka “The Black Widow” of the And 1 Streetballers who will be providing ball handling and dribbling techniques, photos and autographs for all registered campers.
