June 17, 2008 - PRLog -- DELRAY BEACH, Florida—If you are too busy to have your business portrait taken or if your children won't sit still long enough for you to get them to the photographer at the mall, there is a photographer who will come to you. Paul Steven Photography claims to have the only mobile portrait studio in Palm Beach County. Actually, it's a very large bus—25 feet long—that can provide everything a regular studio can with the added benefit of being on wheels. The mobile portrait studio is a fully self-contained studio, complete with lights, backdrops and even a viewing station where clients can see their portraits instantly.
According to Paul Finkelstein, owner of Paul Steven Photography, "With our traveling mobile portrait studio, we come to you, cutting down on travel and wait time and saving our clients from high gas prices."
Paul Steven's clients include new business owners and successful executives with less than 10 employees to large corporations in the Delray Beach community.   According to one client, "I have dozens of meetings to juggle every day and in a rush I needed to have my official business portrait created for important news releases and advertising projects. I was more than surprised when this big yellow bus pulled up in front of our office. My executive assistant set up the appointment to have my portrait created and I was able to attend all of my meetings that day without skipping a beat."
Another client, a new Mom who wanted portraits of her six-month-old twin girls confessed, "I really love my children but I wasn't looking forward to the hassle of taking them to the photographer for their first baby portraits.  The mobile portrait studio is a great idea. Everything was so easy and the girls loved being on the big yellow bus."
Before starting his photography business, Mr. Finkelstein worked in the investment and financial planning area for 12 years. But he didn't just decide one day to go from being a financial planner to being a photographer. His formalized training began in high school where he handled almost all of the photography for the yearbook taking faculty staff portraits, sports photos, candid shots and more.
His training continued at the Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) School of Graphic Arts and Photography, then finally ongoing continuing education, and annual workshops. Mr. Finkelstein is a member of many portrait, wedding and event photography organizations locally, nationally, and internationally including, the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Florida Professional Photographers (FPP), Wedding Professional Photographers International (WPPI), National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and the local Professional Photography Guild of the Palm Beaches.  He is one of the few professional photographers with a marketing and business degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY and a photography degree from RIT.
Mr. Finkelstein says, "People skills and collaborating partnerships with clients, customers, colleagues and friends are some of the many important criteria for growing and keeping happy, satisfied clients. I just translated that into my career as a photographer."
