Explorers Communications Celebrates Five Years in Business

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 13, 2008 – Explorers Communications celebrates its fifth anniversary in business in June of 2008.  The mission of Explorers Communication is to provide marketing solutions that are on time, within budget, and beyond customers’ expectations.  Services offered by Explorers Communications include public relations and marketing strategy, copywriting and editing of all types of corporate communications.  The company’s client list includes an assortment of business and consumer service companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations, including:  Nortek Environmental, The Greenberg Law Firm, Gailani & Associates Interior Design, Tease Workout, the Illinois Water Environment Association, and the Naperville Area Humane Society.

During its first five years in operation, Explorers Communications has worked with a variety of interesting businesses on some exciting projects.  While writing the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s annual magazine, which she has done for the past four years, owner Heather Wachter has had the pleasure of interviewing and writing about legendary jockey Steve Cauthen and teen heartthrob movie star Josh Hutcherson.

Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Director of PR/Communications Mark Schenthal says, “It is a true honor to have [Heather] as our writer on this project.  Not many individuals really understand what a chamber is all about. [Heather is] quite talented and really WOWed our president.”

Explorers Communications also helped edit one of the extremely popular Guerrilla Marketing business books, Guerrilla Marketing in 30 Days.

A community-focused organization, Explorers Communications has been a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce since 2003.  In addition, Wachter serves on the board of directors of the Naperville Area Humane Society, of which she has been a member since 2000, and served on the Naperville United Way campaign team from 1999 to 2001.  She also currently serves on the advisory board of Kids’ Day Out in Naperville, a post she has held since 2006.
