The site’s bilingual, Russian and English language content, is updated daily from Moscow, whilst the site also offers an RSS feed, recruitment section, events listings, Russian-English language glossary of oilfield terminology, a forum, a blog and a weekly e-newsletter.
The BPA audit reported that the site received 25,479 page requests per month from 11,549 monthly visits. Visitors to the site stayed for an average 5 minutes and 29 seconds per visit, whilst the majority of visitors to the site were from Russia and the United States.
All news and information sections on the site, which is produced from Moscow by American-owned and managed Eurasia Press Inc., specialists in independent, bilingual trade publishing, are free, though visitors register to order a paid subscription to the print or digital versions of the magazine, which is also BPA-audited;
“In Russia, media buying is a gamble. B2b media here is an emerging market that is flooded with “here today, gone tomorrow” titles, outlandish circulation claims that no one believes and no accountability,”
“Oil&Gas Eurasia chose to position itself along side quality European and US titles that audit their circulation. And OGE is determined to be a leader in offering credible audience penetration across media platforms, electronic as well as print. That is why we chose to audit not only our print title but also our bilingual b2b website, www.oilandgaseurasia.com with news updated daily to serve the international oilfield services and supply sector in Russia.”
Stuart Wilkinson, BPA Worldwide’s Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, complimented Oil & Gas Eurasia for voluntarily opening its web site records for independent verification and documentation.
“The BPA interactive audit for oilandgaseurasia.com will provide advertisers and agencies with an assurance that should they choose to invest their budget in this site, they will in fact reach target audiences for specific ads. BPA helps media companies like Eurasia Press by documenting the quality of their audiences.”
