Town Hall Grill Announces A New Kind of Old Political Forum

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 12, 2008 – Chapel Hill, NC – Town Hall Grill, located in Southern Village in Chapel Hill, N.C., has launched a bipartisan community issues forum, called “The Village Voice.” The purpose of the forum is to provide people with the opportunity to engage with political, environmental, and business leaders in a comfortable, thought provoking dialogue regarding current issues in a “town hall” style format.

The first Village Voice series will focus on the upcoming election and feature local, state and national candidates presenting a balance of viewpoints on the issues.

The Village Voice is a series of bimonthly events conducted at the Town Hall Grill at 4pm and ending at 5pm and will be held on Mondays. Visitors to The Town Hall Grill’s Web site will have the opportunity to submit questions to each speaker prior to the event.

June 23rd – Dr. William Lawson, Republican – Candidate for U.S. House District 4

July 14th  - Senator Ellie Kinnaird, Democrat – North Carolina Senate District 23
