Glasgow Wedding Photographer, David Norwood wins Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers Award.

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 12, 2008 – David Norwood, the Glasgow based wedding photographer from DNphoto, has just received a Gold Award for his recent entry in the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and British Professional Photographers Associates monthly photographic competition. David, who is a licentiate member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, decided only recently to take up the challenge of the monthly competition, which is open to both professional and amateur photographers from all over the world. The competition attracts some of the best UK and International photographers who compete in various social and commercial categories, with the monthly winners being put forward for the Society's annual awards.

David's winning shot was entered in May's Contemporary Wedding category only weeks after the image was shot, so it would seem that the wedding season is getting off to a great start for him.  The image shows the reclining couple sharing an intimate moment, which is framed by the statue in the fountain. Winning the SWPP and BPPA award is another great achievement for David who, only months before, picked up an Award of Excellence in the Classical Wedding category at the Master Photographer's Association Scotland's annual awards.
