2008 Awards Banquet
The Family Entertainers of Atlanta held the first annual Entertainers Awards Banquet on 6/22/2008 at the Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. The Family Entertainers of Atlanta is a diverse community of Professional Entertainers with a positive attitude and demeanor that share a common interest, knowledge and passion for various forms of family based entertainment. The purpose of Family Entertainers of Atlanta is to elevate the art of family entertainment to the highest level. The following awards were presented; “Unique Strolling Act of the Year 2008” presented to Robin “BubbleMan”
was presented to Joey “NOJOE” Thurmond. The Entertainers group also recognized the 2008 President Jean Lewis with a Certificate of Appreciation. “These are the best Family Entertainers in Atlanta,” said President Jean Lewis. The group was formed after a need was established by the public to get the best family entertainment available in the Atlanta area together in one group. The Family Entertainers of Atlanta welcomes new members by invitation only. The Entertainers also welcomed their newest member at the banquet Photographer Greg Gimpelevich. “This group is very conscientious about providing top quality entertainment to our clients, It’s an honor to be associated with such a fine group of entertainers”
