The award was presented on June 2 at Microsoft’s Tech·Ed North America Developers Conference in Orlando, Florida. PHYTEC won the award in the Independent Hardware Vendor category for its work in driving the adoption of Windows Embedded CE and by providing a variety of OEM deployable Single Board Computer subassemblies and production-ready BSPs.
The Windows Embedded Excellence Awards recognize visionary organizations around the world that use the Windows technology in innovative and creative ways. Windows Embedded Partners were honored for their outstanding commitment to the Windows community and the many innovative ways that they are using Microsoft Windows Embedded platforms.
