Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP Adds Estate Planning Attorney

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 11, 2008 – Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP announced that Eido Walny has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Wealth Management Group.  “We are pleased to welcome Eido to Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan.  His extensive experience in estate planning will serve as a tremendous asset to our firm and clients,” said Gerardo (Jerry) Gonzalez, Managing Partner of the firm.  

    Mr. Walny’s practice focuses on estate planning, business succession, probate, and trust administration.  Mr. Walny is also newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and as an Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS), which is the highest designation for an estate planning attorney currently recognized by the American Bar Association.  To become Board-Certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist, an attorney must pass a comprehensive examination in estate planning law.  In addition to having devoted at least one-third of his practice to estate planning for a minimum of five years, the attorney must also receive recommendations from at least five colleagues and must establish that he has at least 36 continuing legal education credits within the last three years.  Less than sixty attorneys in the United States have attained the EPLS designation.

    Mr. Walny also serves on the Associate Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, the Bayside Planning Commission, and the Boards of Directors of the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra, and Artworks for Milwaukee, which utilizes the arts to teach job skills to at-risk youth.  Mr. Walny has also been honored as a charter member by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation Mueller Society in recognition of the advancement of philanthropy.
