The Normandy Liberty Bell is 3-D and reconnects Americans with their history in an unprecedented way. The hologram stands as a symbol of continuing friendship between France and the United States. The bell is a token of gratitude from Frenchman, Patrick Daudon, who wished to honor the sacrifice American soldiers made to liberate his country during World War II.
“This is living history of a completely different sort. The Normandy Liberty Bell project has brought the bell and its sound back from the dead”, said William Moore, president and CEO of the Independence Visitor Center
