The first car dealership to go Green

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 10, 2008 – R&B Auto Center, located in Fontana, CA is the first Dealership to go green.  R&B Auto Center’s has installed beautiful rockwork and Eco-Alliance Artificial Grass throughout the dealership and playground, all of this in an effort to conserve one of earths most valuable resources, water.  R&B Auto Center has retrofitted most of the lighting fixtures with energy efficient lighting to conserve energy.  Recycling is a way of life for all employees at R&B Auto Center.  Recycling bins are placed throughout the dealership for paper, plastic and aluminum.  R&B Auto Center’s Service department recycles used oil, tires, and metal.  

In today’s economy where gas prices are $5.00 per gallon, R&B Auto Center is phasing out the big trucks and SUV gas guzzlers. R&B Auto Center has stocked their dealership with quality vehicles that are gas efficient, ranging over 25 MPG.  R&B employees go to great measures to educate the community on saving gas, which has dramatically raised the sales of compact cars and hybrids.

R&B Auto Center is an excellent example of how to make change happen. We all need to start somewhere; we all have the power to help.  Our footprint we leave our children will be inherited for generations to come.
