Burlington, VT- Jeff Egan, formerly of the Cliff House Restaurant in Stowe has accepted the Executive Chef position aboard the Moonlight Lady in 2008. "Chef Egan is a pleasure to work with. Jeff Egan had spent much of his earlier career with Toronto’s Liberty Grand Enterprises, and the Hyannis Yacht Club. He had been with Stowe Mountain Resort in various roles since 2003. He served as Chef de Cuisine of the Cliff House in Stowe, Vermont for two years. Prior to his career as a Chef, Jeff was an activist for environmental causes in Canada.
Having lived in Vermont since 2003, Jeff has a strong connection to the local community. During recent years he has developed strong, direct relationships with many of Vermont's artisanal food producers. He is actively involved in the Vermont Fresh Network and is an advisor to the executive committee of the Vermont Cheese Council. His diverse life experiences and passion for local cuisine shall provide guests aboard the Moonlight Lady a unique portal into the Vermont food culture.
