In keeping with the strong environmental focus, Forecastle plans to include two stages powered exclusively by solar energy – one of the first major festivals in the Midwest to do so. Additionally, over fifty environmental groups from the festival’s (10) Midwest participating cities will exhibit at the event, along with panels, speakers, and an environmental film showcase.
Tickets for Sunday admission are $18 in advance ($21 on-site) and are available via TicketWeb, Ticketmaster, and select independent record stores, including ear X-tacy Records in Louisville, CD Central in Lexington, Euclid Records in St. Louis, Grimey’s in Nashville, Indy CD & Vinyl in Indianapolis, Landlocked Records in Bloomington, and Shake-It Records in Cincinnati. Advanced tickets for Friday and Saturday range from $15 – 20 per day, with two-day and three-day passes available, as well as a limited number of VIP passes at $50 a day.
