Keanna Faircloth, host of Pacifica radio station 89.3 WPFW's Midday Jazz show, will interview Liberated Muse Productions (LMP) founders Maceo Thomas and Khadijah Ali-Coleman on Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
LMP is organizing this year's Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest which will take place in Washington DC on Saturday, July 26, 2008.
Vocalists Afi Soul, Mycah Chevalier and Dee Stone--all who are performing during the Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest-- will also participate in the interview, debuting some of their new music on air.
The purpose of WPFW-FM Pacifica is to provide outlets for the creative skills and energies of the community, to contribute to a lasting understanding between individuals of all nations, races, creeds and colors, and to promote the full distribution of public information. Programming on WPFW will principally be a mix of jazz, Third World music, news and public affairs. WPFW is dedicated to programming which reflects progressive social change and democracy.
