What makes the lure so effective and versatile is the swimming motion of the lure combined with the variable depths that can be fished. It can be fished at almost any depth depending on the speed of the retrieve. The lure can be bent slightly one way or the other to make it swim partially on its side and to the right or left like a wounded baitfish. During the testing excursion, they caught six different species on the Steelshad. The lure is available in five color designs.
Captain Steve Niemoeller, a professional fishing guide located in central Florida, has also tested the Steelshad and recommends it to all of his clients. Captain Niemoeller sells about 100 Steelshad per month just to his clients after they have had a chance to fish with it. It catches all types of bass, walleye, northern pike, trout, and many other freshwater species as well as most saltwater fish.
