Blogger Jason C. (Sandstorm) was banned before. Like many other purveyors of hate speech and racism, he's found a loophole and apparently, Yahoo can't stop him.
Yahoo failed to respond to the concerns of many users about the repeated rants and insults Jason C. places almost hourly on the popular Yahoo Answers web site.
Elizabeth B. Davis, a 46-year old Florida mother was horrified to discover his posts. "Even for the Internet, I was amazed at the amount of hate-filled and bigoted content that Yahoo permitted and, for such a length of time. I reported him for community abuse guidelines on a number of occassion, and so far, Yahoo has done nothing."
Davis, who has been using the Internet from its early days added, "On private blogs, you certainly can promote your own views but when a commercial site visited by 13 year olds negligently allows a user to advocate statuatory rape, incest, slavery of women, and so on, you wonder if Yahoo's a safe site to use. I've had a Yahoo account for years and until I discovered this aspect. I thought it was a fine company with a good product. Obviousy I was mistaken."
Yahoo's community guidelines specifically state, "Although this question is written in the form of a question, its purpose is not to seek knowledge but to rant about a specific group of people. A community sharing opinions and experience is what makes Answers a fun and engaging place. However, it's up to each member to seek and provide knowledge on controversial topics with respect and tolerance, and refrain from using Answers as a soapbox." In Jason's case this was overlooked.
Jason C. has a history of trashing women. He had been banned before as Sandstorm and possibly other identities. He got around the ban by barely changing his user name to Jason C. (Sandstorm) and continued his rantings.
Jason C. asks in his posts.
Since a man's job is to protect his children, is it morally okay to beat up his wife/gf's abortion doctor?
Would it be morally okay for him to beat up his wife's or girlfriend's abortion doctor right before the operation if she was going in to get one? Ofcourse, I mean morally, not legally.
Do you think it is okay for a man to give his step daughter (5 years old or younger) a bath?
What percentage of wives do you think need to be put over their husband's knee and spanked for disobedience?
I'm tired of seeing women act like brats and get away with it.
Should women have a separate pool to swim in when they are having their periods?
Do you think it is okay for a little girl to sleep with her mom if her stepdad is in the bed?
How do you feel about women owning property (land)?
Do you think women should be allowed to wear two piece bathing suits at water parks?
or are they too immodest?
Ladies, do you feel a sense of freedom by obeying your man and being in subjection to him?
If you had a daughter who didn't want to be a mother and housewife, what would you do?
Do you find it wrong for women to be pastors?
Should it be against the law for a couple to ride a motorcycle with the woman in front and driving?
The man should always be in front because it is more safe that way and it is the masculine position. Women were meant to follow their man's lead and sit behind him.
Ladies, if you made a dinner which was unsatisfactory for your man, would you apologize and make it up to him?
Ladies, would you ever buy a tv or computer without your man's permission or advice?
Ladies, did your mother teach you that when you got married that you were to honor and obey your husband?
Do you believe that women were created for man's pleasure?
Do you think wives should be allowed to get their haircut without their husband's written permission?
I remember a couple of stories in which a man told his wife that he liked her hair long and didn't want her to get it cut and then she did it anyway claiming it was too hot or too much maintenance. I don't think that is right.
If women are eating pancakes, should they be allowed more than two during one meal?
It just seems to me that they can be fattening and I saw a woman eat three today
Is it okay for a man to take a leak in a public restroom if a woman is cleaning it?
Is it wrong for a guy to want the girl to cook dinner and clean his house on the first date?
Is it normal for a man to hit his wife (or girlfriend) during a heated argument?
What is the best way to get a woman to be passive, submissive, and obedient to her husband in all things?
I think that wives are to submit graciously to their husband but sometimes they do not want to do this. What do you recommend?
Should married women be able to own property or should it all be in their husband's name?
Do you think adult women should be able to play in the bin of balls at Chuck E. Cheese?
I think so because women can look cute when they act childish
'
When you see a car ahead of you driving terribly, do you automatically assume its a drunk driver or a woman?
How often should a woman clean and polish her man's shoes? Personally, I like mine done once every three weeks
It's important for a man to have clean shoes because his image as an important and respectable man depends on it.
Do you believe that women should have the house clean and spotless by sundown on Friday?
I do because women should have Saturday off and I don't like walking around in a house that has clothes on the floor or dishes in the sink
Do you think it is a good idea for men to give their women a Good Behavior Points reward system for obedience?
I know a lot of women don't like to be disciplined nowadays when they disobey their man so I think the next best thing would be some kind of Good Behavior Points (GDP's) reward system. They get points for having dinner served on time, talking to their man with respect, calling him "master" in front of his friends, etc. Later on when she had enough points she could "cash" them in for beauty salon visits, weekend trips, a free day, or jewelry.
Ladies, would you wear a diaper during a video so your man would not have to pause the film for you to go?
I think it is a simple request really. Only a couple of women I have known would wear a diaper out of obedience to their man. Guys don't like pausing films because it ruins the mood and women tend to have to go to the bathroom more than men. Women shouldn't really complain about wearing a diaper nor should they consider it degrading. They should just think of it as they would wearing a maxi pad or tampon. I don't think women should be made fun of for wearing a diaper for their guy. In reality these women who do are the ones to be revered because they would probably do it on a long car trip as well and most guys want to get to the destination as fast as possible
Would you get on a plane to fly somewhere if you knew it had a woman for a pilot?
Ladies, do you find it difficult to call your man your lord or master?
I think it is sad that the feminist movement puts a lot of pressure on women not to treat their man with respect.
Davis posted a queston asking why Jason C. has been allowed to continue. Two people so far answered her question. One was going to file a complaint about Jason C. The second, pointed out that Jason C. might actually be on Yahoo's staff in attempt to catch internet low-lifes.
"The Irony of it all," reaplied Davis, "Is if this is true. We have an American company, publically traded that pays people to write horrible things about women and encourages others to do the same."
