Richard Chevrolet Authorized to Carry the “Green Car of the Year” – the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 06, 2008 – Named the “Green Car of the Year” by the Green Car Journal, the 2008 Chevy Tahoe hybrid averages 20 miles per gallon on the highway and in the city.  A fact that’s not easy to ignore with today’s skyrocketing gas prices.

The Tahoe hybrid can operate on either electric or engine power or both simultaneously.  It’s equipped with a state-of-the-art Active Fuel Management system which also contributes to its overall fuel economy.  Although this SUV is a hybrid, luxury is not sacrificed.    Heated leather seats, seating for seven passengers, a navigational system and similar towing capacity to the original Tahoe are features that can’t be ignored.
