The Business Daily Finance held this competition for the fifth year in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with Banka Koper as a principal sponsor. Nine judges chosen by the newspaper, all influent businessmen and women had to choose the best business idea among the 70 applications received. The Business Daily Finance is the most important financial newspaper of Slovenia and for Tatjana Pogacnik, manager of its Finance Business Academy, the win of OBS d.o.o. is well deserved: "Numerous business ideas were submitted to us this year but MountVacation.com stood out because of the quality of the project and its great potential for success. Our goal is to encourage promising start-up companies and OBS d.o.o. is definitely one of them."
MountVacation.com (http://www.mountvacation.com) is one of the first internet catalogues and booking platform specialized in mountain tourism. "That internet tool makes life easier both for mountain tourism clients and for mountain accommodation providers", confirms Dušan Gustin, project manager. The mountain lovers find a vast offer of mountain accommodations on a unique site, multilingual, safe and very simple to use. The partners, on the other hand, find a free and uncomplicated service.

Before launching MountVacation.com, OBS d.o.o. has built GoGoSKI.com, the first mountain resort online catalogue and booking system. Founded in November 2007 by Dejan Romih, the company has won the Best Business Plan 2007 Competition organized by the main business institutions of Ljubljana, in Slovenia, where the company’s offices are located. It is also one of the most promising startup companies among members of L.U.I. and it received investments from the Business Angels of Slovenia.
