New Iretsu Single Released as Free Download

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 05, 2008 – Perth, Western Australia and Portland, Oregon. The Australian music label Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced the release of the new single ‘Name our Numbers, Numbers’ by Portland-based avant-popsters Iretsu.

Following on from their acclaimed "The Moon and Stars Remain in the Morning Sky" album, Iretsu present yet another masterful vision of what pop music can be with the release of ‘Name our Numbers, Numbers’, the first single to be taken from the upcoming EP of the same name. The band have yet again managed to distil the core elements of chamber pop, folk, indie and rock, pouring the result into a whole new mould.

“All the elements are erratic if you were to try to isolate all the parts of the song and parse out what is happening. The song is marching. ‘Name our Numbers, Numbers’ is now available from the Hidden Shoal Recordings Store. The single will be available for free download until the EP is released on 8th July 2008. The EP will see both digital and CD release.
