The Dominican Republic is known for cultivating today's Latin Hip Hop Movement and Jimmy Flavorr is one of its finest, and has made a significant dent in today's movement. Jimmy's first single, "La Bomba," had such an enormous response in the underground world that it quickly became a street anthem and currently has over 150,000 downloads. This single was a glimpse into the raw and diverse sound Jimmy implemented in the album.

Jimmy Flavorr recorded songs that personally represent his life's journey with some of the best producers and artists in the game. Jimmy Flavorr is accompanied by multi-Grammy Award Winning producers such as Echo, Diesel, and Hyde, who have worked on projects such as Daddy Yankee's "Barrio Fino," Vico C, and Ivy Queen's, "Real."

Jimmy Flavorr's debut album, "Flavor of the Year," features guest appearances by pop sensation Jean, featured on the single "Descontrol," and bachata super stars Luis Vargas and Judy Santos, on the single "Tu Y Yo." The album also includes vocalist Taxi Amarillo, and the talented R&B songstress Adassa. Jimmy includes a personal message in his single "Humilde Hispano," a song that depicts the social side of Jimmy's journey as a hard working young man moving to New York to support his family in the Dominican Republic to now living his dream.
