11 Store "Shop Hop" Challenges Colorado Scrapbookers and Stampers to a 10 Day Shopping Tour

June 4, 2008 - PRLog -- 11 Scrapbook and Rubber Stamp Stores in Colorado will host a Scrap and Stamp Store Shop Hop June 20 – 29, 2008:  Rocky Mountain Scrapaganza, www.RockyMountainScrapaganza.com

According to the Craft and Hobby Association, Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting continue to be the strongest categories in America’s hobby industry today, with Independent Scrapbook and Rubber Stamp Retailers providing innovative venues for Scrapbook and Stamp Enthusiasts to participate in the craft.  

11 Scrapbook and Stamp Stores in Colorado have joined together to plan and host the event, offering discounts and prizes for Scrapbookers and Stampers who visit participating stores.  All locations will feature an 8x8 page Make ‘N Take for a progressive Colorado-summer-themed album.

Scrapbook and Stamp Enthusiasts will need a Rocky Mountain Scrapaganza Passport to participate, available from participating stores.  The Rocky Mountain Scrapaganza Passport is a directory to all participating stores, including special store hours, a local map to each store, and a space for the customer to have their Passport stamped when they visit a store.  With their Passport, customers may visit participating stores during the event and receive a 15% discount.

Prizes range from a $25 gift certificate from each store to a several prizes valued over $200 donated from companies including Tinkering Ink, Quick Quotes, Magic Mesh, Creative Diversity, Mountains and Memories Retreats and Sweetwater Scrapbook Retreats.  To become eligible for prizes, customers must visit at least 8 of the 11 participating stores and have their Passport stamped.  For more details about the event, and for a list of participating Scrapbook and Rubber Stamp Retailers, please visit www.RockyMountainScrapaganza.com.
