As call center manager, Hadley oversees a staff of 10. Her primary duties include preparing her staff to handle calls from prospective members regarding DirectBuy memberships.

We hired Alanna because as a former employee of another DirectBuy showroom and a DirectBuy member since she was 19, she has a firsthand understanding of what a DirectBuy membership means. On top of that, she’s great with members and staff,” said Peter Ruetz, co-owner of DirectBuy of Greater Vancouver.

A lifelong resident of North Vancouver, Hadley worked as a marketing director at DirectBuy of Vancouver from 2001 until 2007. After taking some time off to travel, she returned to DirectBuy and her new position at the DirectBuy of Greater Vancouver.

“After working for DirectBuy of Vancouver for so many years, the decision to come back after my sabbatical was a pretty easy one,” said Hadley. “Steve [Pippy, the other co-owner] and Peter are awesome to work with and a lot of fun to be around. Plus, it’s a very gratifying feeling to help people save so much money.”
