The signing of an agreement between the two firms adds to Carrental’s placement in the car hire comparator service, as it has the most comprehensive collection of car hire providers on any single website.
Managing Director of Carrentals.co.uk, Gareth Robinson said in a remark: The collaborative effort with Alamo is a hallmark in the firm’s progress as it boosts its product to customers by adding a big name brand like Alamo to its repertoire. With about 50 car hire agencies now enlisted on the site, Carrentals.co.uk now has the most complete listing of car hire firms and is planning to expand further in the upcoming months, said Robinson.
The comparator was voted as Best Car Hire Website in the 2008 Travolution Awards and Carrentals.co.uk is centered on a cost per acquisition system, supplying clients and providers with a better comparison site. Visitors to the site can look up each car rental firm’s prices and then go to the supplier’s site to make a final booking.
