June 3, 2008 - PRLog -- Bangalore,  India: Did you notice anything strange as you tuned into Radio One 94.3 FM today? If you did, then you will be among the first to know about the station changing its name to Fastrack 94.3 FM for a day.

Fastrack, the watch and sunglass brand, has partnered with Radio One FM 94.3 in a first-of-its-kind alliance. The tie-up has the channel’s content including on-air contests and promotions being integrated with the Fastrack theme of ‘Move On’ - all of which lead up to Radio One FM 94.3 becoming Fastrack 94.3 FM, the station for the ‘Move on Generation’.

Speaking at the media event, Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director, Titan said, “Fastrack is a brand that allows the youth to experiment with many provocative identities without having to commit to any one. From product design to the way it communicates, Fastrack enjoys exploring new boundaries. Fastrack FM 94.3 is one more step in this direction.”

Mr.Vineet Singh, CEO - Radio One added, “The alliance with Fastrack is a first of its kind and to enable it meant changing our name in addition to integrating the brand and it’s theme with our programming. We are extremely happy to have partnered with Fastrack, the ‘irreverent’ spirit of the brand gels with our programming focus. ”

An excited Simeran Bhasin, Marketing Manager, Fastrack added, “It feels like we own the radio channel for a day!”

This unique association was initiated by Maxus Global, a Group M company, based on the brands’ similar identities.
