Area No-Kill Animal Shelter Announces Fundraising Concert
Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary Holding ‘Band Together for Animals’ to Benefit Spay/Neuter Program
Anderson Township, OH — June 2, 2008 — Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary has today announced the location of its first annual ‘Band Together for Animals’ fundraising concert. Stanley’s pub, in Columbia-Tusculum, is hosting the event which is June 7, and features performances by several area bands.

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Safe Haven’s program that assists pet owners and feral cat caretakers who cannot afford to spay or neuter the animals in their care. Since the program’s creation in 2007, over 100 local dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered.
“Spaying and neutering is an extremely important part of controlling overpopulation in the Cincinnati area,” Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary’s president Rory Uhler said. “We’re excited to be able to raise awareness in a relaxed and fun setting.”
‘Band Together for Animals’ will be held June 7 at Stanley’s Pub on 323 Stanley Ave. in Columbia-Tusculum. Cover for the event is $5 at the door and live music starts at 10pm. This event is for ages 21 and over. For more directions please call (513) 871-6249
