The coordinators of the upcoming Rock’n’Register event have marked Saturday, September 13, 2008 as the date for their upcoming Rock’n voter registration drive.
Rock'n'Register is a non-partisan music "festival" that will showcase 8 bands from around Maryland to promote voter registration, awareness and turnout. The event will also feature informational booths from Harford County political organizations as well as invite all Harford County political candidates to have an area to meet and greet attendees of the event.
The event is currently being sponsored by several political organizations throughout Harford County, including the Young Republicans as well as the Young Democrats.
The event price is still to be determined, but all proceeds will be donated to a reputable non-profit charity.
