Students from the Academy at Sisters, http://www.academyatsisters.org, volunteer at Blissful Acres Rescue Reserve (BARR), http://www.blissfulacres.com, caring for 26 formally abused horses that have been neglected or given up by the original owners. The student’s clean, brush, feed and bond with these animals and also nurture an animal in need. This is one of many ways that the girls at The Academy at Sisters volunteer their time in the community.
