EMACC Celebrates it's 80th Anniversary with Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

PRLog (Press Release) – May 28, 2008 – The Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce (http://www.emacc.org) will be celebrating 80 continuous years of operation with an event held at Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury NJ on June 12th, 2008. The event will be a roaring 20's themed cocktail and networking party. “The Shadowbrook is the perfect setting for this celebration.” said Peder Hagberg, EMACC Chairman.  “We’ll have an antique auto exhibit along the tree-lined drive, cocktails in the garden, special gifts for the guests, games and live music provided by the Brookdale Big Band. It’s going to be a very memorable evening.  Period costume dress is optional, but encouraged to add to the fun!”

EMACC committee members are seeking former EMACC directors and officers and are encouraging all members - especially those who have been chamber members since the early years - to attend and receive public thanks for their long-time support and contributions.

“An organization – especially a non-profit organization – doesn’t stay alive and continue to thrive by itself.  We owe our longevity and our success to the dedicated businesses and community leaders who have stuck with us through the decades.   I’m in awe of the strength and resiliency of this organization which has persevered under the best and worst of times in our nations past 80 year history.   Our founders and our supporters are to be commended” said Lynda Rose, President and Chief Operating Officer.
