These beautifully produced books draw on seven years of experience in the Beijing travel sector and include the best photography that forms the basis of Kinabaloo Design's popular online travel guide. The books show how Beijing has crafted a wonderful mix of ancient culture and modern lifestyle.
"This marks an important milestone for us," says Steve Clarke, the project coordinator. "We had sought to produce books that reflect the quality of character of the New Beijing - and we believe we have done that." The flagship book, entitled simply 'Beijing', covers 32 places of interest, with an introduction to each and over 350 photographs.
Kinabaloo Design will expand their range of books to ten this year and is seeking a local (Beijing) publisher for the home market in time for the Olympics.
