ColdFusion 8 is Now offered by CWCS

PRLog (Press Release) – May 27, 2008 – CWCS Managed Hosting now offer ColdFusion 8 on our Windows Business and Windows Reseller 1 and 2 Packages

ColdFusion was first developed by brothers Jeremy Allaire and JJ. It was the product of Allaire but was taken over by Macromedia in 2001. Since Adobes takeover of Macromedia it has become one of their products.

ColdFusion is an application server with a software development framework and is used for the development of software and dynamic web pages. Besides being used in data driven websites and intranets it is also used to generate SOAP web services or Flash remoting.

From now on our customers can enjoy the basic features of ColdFusion 8 which are as follows:

1.   Similar functionality to Microsoft ASP.NET, PHP or JavaServer Pages.
2.   ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) has similar syntax to HTML, JSP and PHP. It also help in running .net framework and image manipulation.
3.   ColdFusion also supports other programming languages.
4.   It helps in conversion from HTML to FlashPaper and PDF.
5.   It helps with Client side code generation.
6.   It helps in platform-independent database querying via JDBC or ODBC
7.   ColdFusion also offers server clustering, GUI administration, and task scheduling.
