Every cat or kitten has a chance to be crowned Super Star Cat by competing in one of the six divisions in the PURRsonals.com Super Star Cat Photo Contest. The six divisions are:
--Most Expressive Tail
--The Eyes Have It
--Silly Silly Kitty
--My Best Friend
--Remarkable Color
--Costume Design
Spectators and exhibitors at the show will pay $1 per vote to cast their vote(s) for their favorite cat photo. At the end of the contest the three cats with the most votes in each division will win first-, second- and third-place prizes (including a ribbon and package of cat goodies). The cat with the most votes out of the top three winners in each division will be crowned 2008's Super Star Cat.
The top three winners in each division will be featured on www.PURRsonals.com after the event.
The entry fee is $5 per photograph. There is no limit to the number of photographs that can be submitted for the contest. All photographs must be delivered by 10 a.m. at the 2008 Annual Cat Show location. All proceeds collected from the entry fees and votes will be donated to the North Texas non-profit rescue group, Little Orphan Angels.
The Super Star Cat Photo Contest will be held in conjunction with TICA’s 2008 Annual Cat Show at the Arlington Convention Center. TICA will host cats from around the world who will compete in twelve rings of judging in the championship cat, kitten, alter, household pet and household pet kitten divisions. The top three cats and kittens in the divisions at the end of the show will be named Best of the Best. In addition to judging, cats will compete during the two days for prizes in the International Cat Agility Tournaments’
