Cook It! Hosts Four-Time James Beard Award Winning Cookbook Author Cheryl Jamison

Cook It! presents a dynamic culinary event on June 10, 2008, as four-time James Beard Award winner Cheryl Jamison, and co-author Bill Jamison share their travel experiences that led to their new cookbook “Around the World in 80 Dinners”.

Presents another dynamic culinary event with four-time James Beard Award winning cookbook author Cheryl Jamison and her newly released book “Around the World in 80 Dinners” (William Morrow) on June 10, 6:30-9 p.m. in the beautiful Waterfall Garden at Branches, West Long Branch. Tickets are $75.

The always-engaging Cheryl will share travel slides and regale in the adventures and misadventures of  the “ultimate culinary adventure.” Cheryl and her co-author husband Bill, traveled over 50,000 miles to 10 countries and sampled over 800 dishes.
Tickets to the event are $75 per person which include a tropical martini bar by Exclusiv Vodka, wines from around the world by Ocean Wine and Spirits, appetizers, main course and dessert  from the Jamisons’ recipes, prepared by Cook it! partner, award-winning Branches,  and an autographed copy of,  “Around the World in 80 Dinners”.

About the Authors: Cheryl and Bill Jamison are the authors of more than a dozen cookbooks and travel guides, and have four James Beard awards and numerous other honors to their credit.  Their most recent books are The Big Book of Outdoor Cooking and Entertaining; Good Times, Good Grilling; Chicken on the Grill; A Real American Breakfast, and a revised and expanded version of their landmark Smoke & Spice, one of the best-selling cookbooks of the last decade.  The Jamisons appear regularly on TV and are frequent contributors to magazines such as  Cooking Light and Bon Appetit.  They live just outside Santa Fe, New Mexico.
