The breadth of the partnership changes the landscape for online dating in Australia, as it merges the global leader in online dating with the leading online media company to create unprecedented online dating access for Australian singles.
The new partnership builds on Match.com's already successful global agreement with MSN and allows Match.com to extend its reach to ninemsn’s audience of over eight million people each month.
"We are incredibly excited to partner with Australia’s premier online media company. The decision to select Match.com as their exclusive online dating partner further validates the strength of our product and fortifies our global partnership with MSN," said Thomas Enraght-Moony, CEO of Match.com.
The new service, "ninemsn dating provided by Match.com" is fully integrated within the ninemsn network, including Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Messenger Today and Windows Live Spaces. Under this agreement, Match.com expects to significantly increase its market share in Australia.
"We're excited to bring this successful global partnership to Australia," said Jason Scott, Commercial Director for ninemsn. "We see great value in building upon the collaboration between Match.com and MSN."
