Kleiman Evangelista Blade-Free HD IntraLASIK uses the computer-controlled IntraLase FS laser to create the corneal flap. The laser ensures that the corneal flap is uniform in thickness and appropriate to each individual’s needs. This precision flap increases the potential for 20/20 vision or better. By eliminating the microkeratome, there is also less risk for other blade-related side effects. Tiny bubbles placed by the precision laser delicately separate the corneal tissue. The flap is pulled back, allowing for correction with the excimer laser system. The surgeons at Kleiman Evangelista then set the flap back into place, where it will heal with no need for stitches.
