Innovative Design Converts Modular Clean Room System into Sound Barrier Booth

Weaver Technologies Reduces Noise Exposure to Employees Significantly

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)May 23, 2008 – Tigard, OR: Weaver Technologies supplied an innovative solution to solve a noise hazard for a very large pulp and paper company in Salem, Oregon. OSHA safety regulations were satisfied through the unique use of a modular enclosure system that is typically used for clean room applications. The paper company employees where being subjected to prolonged hazardous decibel levels and can now find relief inside a double walled sound barrier system that complies with OSHA regulations.

Mike Weaver, CEO of Weaver Technologies, stated, “We created a booth-style sound barrier that satisfied the well being of the paper company’s employees.  Our aluminum extrusion system is very versatile and by modifying the wall inserts we can create anything: cleanrooms, isolation areas or sound barrier booths. The sound barrier booths can be modified to enclose machines, processes or workers.  They can be as large as 30’ by 75’ or as small as a mere 4 by 4 footprint. I am very proud of the work we did for our customer.”

For the past twenty years, Weaver Technologies has developed a reputation for meeting application needs of major manufacturers industry sectors such as medical devices, plastics, aerospace and semiconductors within the Pacific Northwest.

“Our goal is to provide innovative solutions that improve quality, often contamination, noise, static or ergonomics that impact people and products,” said Weaver.

Manufacturing organizations, including optics, flat panel display and biomedical devices have regulatory, quality and safety issues that benefit from air filtration and ergonomic solutions.  Weaver Technologies specializes in custom designing solutions.

Engineering and high-tech companies in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia have also benefited from Weaver Technologies extensive experience.  Weaver Technologies has also worked with many aerospace, converting and plastics clients.
