become eco-friendly with its new organic t-shirt lines for men and women known
as Rick London Organics (www.ricklondonorganics.info)
London says that he is experimenting with this new store which sells his
offbeat cartoon graphics featured on the front of each tee, to see what other product
lines he might add to his other stores. He adds that not all his e-shops contain
all earth-friendly products, but he is shopping manufacturers now to see what is
out there. His goal is to eventually convert them all to go green.
Londons Times Cartoons features over 8500 images created by London and his
team of illustrators and is one of the most highly-ranked visited cartoon sites on the
Internet luring over 2.8 million annual visitors.
London credits Bono (of the band U2) and his wife Ali for enabling him, not only
to open Rick London Organics, but to offer discounted prices on his T-shirts.
Bono and Ali own a premium organic cotton textile manufacturing firm, Edun
Organics, from which London creates his cartoon Tshirts. He also uses American
Apparel for his organic women's tees.
