A Simple Promise
“A Simple Promise” is an urban drama that takes place in the hard-edged, unforgiving world of the recording business, where you’re nobody unless you're somebody, “A Simple Promise” is the beautifully surreal and painful story of finding your way through life’s harsh lessons and realizing sometimes, what truly matters comes from places you least expect. Alana plays the daughter of the two main characters.
Miss Ethridge also has lead roles in an Indy feature film, “The Silencer & the Sky” and a webisode, “Chillin with the Gonzalezes” which was entered into the MySpace Storyteller Contest. In addition, she has the lead role in, “Kid Pound”, a short film that will be showing on the film festival circuit this year. Alana has landed several spots in national commercials and numerous print jobs including a recent commercial for Hilton Hotels including a print campaign plus a Frito Lay print campaign for Memorial Day Weekend.
“A Simple Promise” was an official selection of the LA Femme Film Festival and The San Diego Black Film Festival. The film was produced by Marlo Productions and directed by Earnest Harris.
