PRLog (Press Release) –
May 21, 2008 – The price for junk cars is the highest it has been in a long time. From the windows of Bay Town Tire Center in Ashland, Bob sees a sizeable number of potential demo derby and dirt dash cars being hauled by to be crushed for scrap. This is a concern for Bob Janigo, Bayfield County Fair Demo Derby & Dirt Dash Coordinator. who is wondering, "Will there be enough cars to put on shows a the Bayfield County Fair this year?
Instead of heading for the junkyard, Bob would like to see these cars used for the Bayfield County Fair Demo Derby and Dirt Dash shows. He says, “Why not save the car, have some fun racing and crashing it, maybe taking home some prize money and then junking it? I hope enough people are saving their cars to run in the Dirt Dash and Demo Derby. I want to be able to put on good shows at the Bayfield County Fair, and I need cars (and drivers) to do that. ”
The Dirt Dash and Demo Derby shows are slated to run on Sunday, August 24th, the last day of The Bayfield County Fair (August 21 - 24, 2008) which is held at the Bayfield County Fair Grounds in Iron River, WI. Check out the rules for the Dirt Dash at www.dirtdash.com and the Demo Derby at www.bayfieldcounty.org/

And remember Don’t’ Crush that Car (yet) – Crash It at the Bayfield County Fair instead.
