“Telling a story means revealing your personality and values, which is a great way to built trust with clients,” said Joanna, also known as the Confident Writing Coach. “But it doesn’t always come naturally. Small business owners have got fascinating tales to tell but they need to break out of corporate sales speak and find the words to tell an interesting and engaging story”.
The writing duo have designed a new course Find the Words to Write your Business Story to add to their Absorbing Writing workshops.
The two-day session takes place in September in Cannigione, a quaint fishing village on the north-east coast of Sardinia.
Joanna added: “By the end of the course, participants will have found the words and the confidence to promote their business online, blog about their small business and know how to create spin-off publicity such as articles and press releases.
“By being authentic and writing readable copy, business owners will make a more powerful connection with clients – and are more likely to create their own happy ending.”
Find the Words to Write your Business Story takes place on September 27-28, 2008 in Cannigione. Olbia airport is 25km, with low cost flights from London Gatwick, Bristol and Birmingham.
