May 19, 2008 – This Saturday, not only will a host of Hollywood’s finest be raising funds for public awareness of environmental issues for the Environmental Media Association, they will also be protected from spreading germs with a new long lasting hand sanitizing lotion. PureWorks First Aid Antiseptic/Hand Sanitizer will be available for the stars as they freshen up in their portable Royal Restrooms. The event, courtesy of Borden Entertainment, Distinctive Assets, LA Direct Magazine, and the EMA will include an elite guest list consisting of Elizabeth Rohm, Carmen Electra, Matthew McConaghney, Pink, Lindsay Lohan, Jeremy Piven, Penny Marshall, Kristen Bell, Adrien Grenier, and a host of other stars, as they kick off the summer with this exclusive party at Malibu Beach, Ca. This summer kick-off party will be the first of three that will be held, as parties will also be thrown on the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. Stars will be providing personal items at Saturday’s event to be auctioned off to raise money for eco-friendly purposes.
But what’s more, the days of using alcohol based hand sanitizer are over for the stars attending this event. Alcohol, as we know, is very damaging to the skin. It actually dries and cracks the skin, particularly from repeated use, which ironically leads to a greater likelihood of collecting and spreading germs. The stars will also be happy to know that they will not face the risk of fire that they would otherwise tolerate in the presence of the flammable alcohol based hand sanitizers.
