As Seen On TV.Info, Inc. (ASOTVI) www.asotv.info announced today it achieved a significant milestone in its first-year in operation of posting its fiftieth produced video product review of As Seen On TV products. Number 50 was for a product called Snore Free, an oral appliance that was verified to help eliminate snoring.
ASOTVI CEO Robert Gelinas explained, “We launched the ASOTVI Web 2.0 website in early March of this year [2008] with a handful of initial reviews. Two and a half months later, we have fifty of them online, available to watch for free, that allow consumers to see for themselves whether some of the most popular As Seen On TV products really do what they say they can, or not.”
ASOTVI’s documentary product reviews range from 45 seconds to 2 minutes, objectively informing consumers what many popular infomercial products actually look like when you get them, what they can really do, what they can’t do, and most importantly, if they honestly fulfill their vendor claims and work as advertised or not. It is not a consumer opinion website.
Mr. Gelinas went on to explain that they plan to have a total of at least 100 video reviews completed by July of this year, and potentially upwards of 200 by the end of the year. He added, “It’s our mission to become the singular online resource that consumers can turn to for honest and reliable information, not opinions, before making a purchase decision regarding this specific niche of products that often sound too good to be true—which is sometimes the case.”
