McKinney, TX – PhaseWare, Inc., a North Texas-based customer support software provider, was named as a 2008 American Business Awards Finalist today in the Best New Company category.
The American Business Awards honors exceptional performance in business, and PhaseWare, Inc. will be judged against other businesses established since January 1, 2005 for the Stevie Award of Best New Company. More than 2,600 entries were submitted by companies in a variety of industries for consideration in over 40 different award categories.
“ABA entries grew more than 30% this year, so being named a Finalist is more of an accomplishment than ever before,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. As a new business headquartered in McKinney TX, PhaseWare, Inc. is already providing customer support software solutions for a diverse group of clients world-wide. PhaseWare Tracker and its Event Engine and Self Service Center enhancements provide Help Desk automation, tracking, and resolution of trouble tickets from origin to close, along with a wide variety of self service options.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging during the week of May 19. Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.
