According to PMForum Managing Editor David Pells, “Martina Huemann has a growing reputation as a researcher and leader in the project management professional field in Austria. She is associated with two of the oldest and most respected business schools in Europe, and actively engaged in research and teaching related to human resources in project-oriented organizations, a very important field of study. We are honored to gain her participation, and to have her represent PMForum in Vienna.”
Dr. Martina Huemann is a member of the faculty of the PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, in Vienna, Austria. She is also an Adjunct Professor for Project Management at Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Lille - ESC Lille, in France. She is a network partner of ROLAND GAREIS CONSULTING. Martina is also a board member of Project Management Austria, the Austrian national member association of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), and a member of the IPMA Research & Development Management Board. She is director of the IPMA Research Awards and trains assessors for the IPMA Project Excellence Award internationally.
Martina has successfully managed research, event and organisational development projects. She teaches and trains project management and managing the project-oriented company nationally and internationally and does research in these fields. In research she concentrates on Human Resource Management in project-oriented companies, project and program auditing, and maturity of project-oriented companies, industries and nations. Martina is a co-author, along with Professor J Rodney Turner and Anne Keegan, of the book “Human Resource Management in the Project-Oriented Organization”
