“All living creatures—pets, farm animals and human beings—can be directly affected by stray current through anything that conducts electricity, such as metal, water or even flesh,” says Mr. Allen. “What makes it worse is that the current can be flowing through your body without your knowing it. Most of the time, it doesn’t even produce a shock.

Direct results of electrical pollution include symptoms such as:

• Sleep dysfunction
• Chronic fatigue
• Muscle stiffness
• Joint pain
• Immune system impairment

And this stray current epidemic does not only plague Wisconsin. Throughout the US, courts have been flooded with electrical pollution cases.

“Stray electrical current is affecting Americans on a daily basis,” says Mr. Allen. “And due to the nature of this pollutant, most will never know until it’s too late.”

Russ Allen is one of the heirs to the Allen Dairy Farm outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and a leader in the movement against the electrical pollution of animals. He spent years in a heated court battle with the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation.
