He comes with a wide spectrum of experience in driving media operations across platforms

with specialized knowledge of business journalism and the Internet medium.

He had led content teams as Editor at media powerhouses like The Times of India, The Indian

Express, www.cnet.com and Emap Plc,UK. Over more than two decades, his career has traversed

on media terrains that extends from print to the Internet, from newspapers to magazines and

from mainstream to financial,  business and technology journalism.

For six years, till January 2006, he was the editor of The Times of India at Bangalore and

Chandigarh. Under his guidance both editions of the newspaper became undisputed leaders in

their respective markets.

He was the founding editor of the world's biggest and most acclaimed technology portal, the

US-based www.cnet.com, in India. He has also worked as Editor in itspace.com and as Managing

Editor with Online Products at Europe's number one English publishing company, Emap PLC.

Before Joining Octanmen.com, he was with digital Ananda Bazar Patrika, publishers of The

Telegraph newspaper and The Business World magazine, as Sr Editor.
