May 14, 2008 – ROCKAWAY, (New Jersey) – As a part of its strategy to strengthen its digital content offerings, business information publisher Advantage Business Media has announced the addition of creation of a new role overseeing its online business efforts. Volodya Krul has joined the company as Senior Director, E-Business Development. Advantage also announced that Jeff Jost has joined the company as Director of Media Sales and John Raguso has come on board as Project Manager.
As the leader of Advantage’s electronic initiatives, Krul’s role will include creating and implementing the overall vision and goals for the publisher’s online business, providing strategic direction and leadership of these initiatives. Based in Advantage Business Media’s Rockaway office, he will specifically oversee web development, web production and webcast production.
Prior to joining Advantage, Krul served as the director of e-business and global commercial operations at pharmaceutical giant Sanofi Pasteur, where he implemented e-commerce solutions and e-marketing sites in the U.S., Canada and Argentina, and managed the development of a global business intelligence web application and coordinated site/application development. He served in the same capacity with the predecessor to Sanofi Pasteur, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, and also previously worked as a project manager at Roche Laboratories. Krul holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Jeff Jost – Director of Media Sales
As Advantage Business Media’s new Director of Media Sales, Jeff Jost will be based out of the company’s Madison, Wisconsin office, where he is charged with developing a team of dedicated inside sales professionals focused on growing revenues from digital content, including websites, webcasts, e-newsletters, blogs, product demos and e-Showcases. Jost comes to Advantage having spent eight years at Cygnus Business Media as Director of Inside Sales.
John Raguso – Project Manager
With broad experience in project management, software design and engineering, John Raguso joins Advantage Business Media as Project Manager, leading the development, design, implementation and testing of the company’s e-initiatives. Raguso previously worked as an IT consultant for Enterpulse, a professional services firm specializing in Business Process Management, Portals and Content Management. He has a B.A. in Social Sciences with a minor in Business Studies from Providence College.
