PRLog (Press Release) –
May 14, 2008 – London artist Tom Adriani and Bristol-based writer Linda Oliver have compiled a darkly humorous look at fears and phobias that is expressed in a-z format with illustrations and verse accompanying each. Adriani's dark illustrations are paired with Oliver's disturbingly funny poems and together make for a compelling and insightful journey into the depths of the subconscious.
The public viewing will be held Sunday, 18 May from 11am – 6pm. The address is: Wilton's Music Hall, Graces Alley, London E1 8JB. Entry is free.
Adriani trained at Central St Martins in Fine Art and specialises in illustration and animation. He has worked on numerous projects including “The Boy Who Chose Sleep”. His work is inspired by Edward Gorey and Maurice Sendak.
Oliver trained in Journalism in California and has lived in the UK since 1990, where she has worked as a copywriter and editor.
