VertexLCD has enhanced the LCD panels with energy-saving environmental features by replacing CCFL BLU’s with custom LED (Light Emitting Diode) backlight units designed to optimize viewing in low ambient lighting conditions. Its latest 15.0 inch LCD panel offers reduced power consumption by 50%, from 20 watts to 10 watts, while maintaining or increasing display brightness.
