EnerisQ International, LLC announced today that it will represent OTIS (Oil Tank Inspection Service) services to its global base of energy industry customers effective immediately. This service allows for cleaning and inspection of storage tanks, to API standards, without the need to empty the tank and interrupt production operations.

OTIS – (Oil Tank Inspection System) is a robot that follows a digital inspection grid and collects up to 200,000 ultrasonic scans for computerized analysis. This model is used with light and middle distillates, containing 6 inches or less of sludge, with cleaning available as an option. Variations of the robotic service are available which allow for: refined distillates such as gasoline, heavier products such as light crude, tanks with excessive sludge, and automated robotic cleaning for out of service tanks.
