Hosting Company Rackspasevalley Introduces Text Message Notification Service

Soon the company’s clients will be able to receive text messages on their mobile phones notifying them of their server status according to their adjusted flags. The service will be tested starting May 19, 2008. Rackspacevalley is a provider of hosting services. The software installed and maintained includes PHP, MySQL and Apache. Each account also includes unlimited POP account, email aliases. Two diesel generators with 8,000 gallons of fuel are on stand-by to ensure consistent power supply to the facility.
